Sandra Jean Passalaqua (Sandra Strzelecki)

Sandra Jean Passalaqua, 77, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2025, in Concord, New Hampshire. Born on July 7, 1948, in Boston, Massachusetts, Sandra was the oldest daughter of Michael and Jean (Cole) Strzelecki.

She grew up in Scituate, Massachusetts, where she attended the local school system from grades one through twelve. Her formative years in Scituate shaped her warm personality and enduring sense of humor—qualities that remained with her throughout her life. Sandra devoted herself to raising her three sons: Craig Strzelecki, Michael Passalaqua, and Dan Passalaqua. Her role as a mother was central to her life and brought her immense pride and joy. She also welcomed a daughter-in-law, Allison Strzelecki, into the family and cherished her grandson Cole Strzelecki. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Passalaqua; her parents Michael and Jean Strzelecki; and her sister Christine Johnson. Sandra is survived by her sister Rhonda Gorski and brother-in-law Paul Gorski and many nieces and nephews.

Known as Sandy to her good friends she always displayed great strength, independence and a keen sense of humor. She was an avid reader of a wide variety of books (especially anything by Stephen King), a master puzzle builder, and self proclaimed cat lady to her cats Thor, Simon, and other beloved pets. Sandra was a fan of many comedy movies and television shows, enjoying a good laugh even when times were tough. These hobbies reflected both her intellect and lighthearted spirit. Her smile and laugh will be sorely missed.

Sandra’s memory will be treasured by those who knew and loved her. May it bring comfort to all who mourn her passing. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Foundation.
