It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sarah Michelle Griffith on September 5, 2025 in Canmore, Alberta at the age of 49.
Born June 6, 1976 in Ottawa, Ontario to Rick Overall (deceased 2023) and Lisa Boyle, Sarah is lovingly remembered by her aunts and uncles: Eve Boyle (Rod), Colleen Boyle, Ian Boyle, and Hugh Boyle; cousins Luke Duerksen (Meghan), Jake Duerksen, Shawn Boyle, and Dylan Sandiford-Boyle; her mother, Lisa Boyle; Kelsey Overall and her daughter, Sarah's beloved little sister, Karma. Sarah was a loving and dearly loved friend of Joshua Cook, Cher McKay, Devon Dakin, Tuezdae J. Barrett, and many others.
Sarah had a passion for music festivals, and loved travelling the world with her friends. She also had a lifelong love of animals (elephants, sharks, opossums, Moo Deng!) and donated to a variety of animal rescues throughout her life.
Sarah will be remembered for her joyful spirit, kindness, wondrous sense of excitement and energy, and we will forever miss the beautiful soul that she is. Her presence will be missed more than words can say.
