Sharon Louise Stagg

Sharon Louise Stagg (née DeWald), born August 29, 1947, in Waukegan, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on October 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Sharon's life was defined by devotion to her family and the quiet strength with which she carried herself through every season of life. She shared a long and loving marriage with her husband, William, and together they built a family rooted in love, humor, and resilience. She was a proud mother to her son, Ronald, and a cherished grandmother to Eidelynn, Griffin, and Gavin, who brought her endless joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Hazel DeWald, and her brother, Michael DeWald. She is survived by husband William; son Ronald; grandchildren Eidelynn, Griffin, and Gavin; sister Judith (John) Gushwa; brother Timothy (Rita) DeWald; sister-in-law Charlene DeWald and found sister Heather Angel Foster.

Sharon will be remembered for her warmth, her generosity of spirit, and the way she made every gathering brighter simply by being present. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in her family's hearts.
