Stephen Frances Bundra, 88, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025. Born October 16, 1936, to Andrew and Stephanie Bundra, Stephen lived a full and spirited life, surrounded by love, laughter, and adventure that touched all who knew him.
A proud U.S. Army veteran, Stephen served with honor and dedication. He had quiet strength, sharp wit, and always spoke his mind, living on his own terms. Above all, Stephen adored his wife, Nancy Ann Bundra, praising her hard work, compassion, and grace. He doted on her and often expressed his gratitude for their life together. Together, they built a home filled with humor, loyalty, and adventure.
Stephen was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Ann Bundra; their three sons, Stephen Andrew Bundra, Michael Lester Bundra, and Alan Joseph Bundra; and his former daughter-in-law, Pamela Sue Bundra.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Carol Coulson and Patricia Mathews, and his brother, Andrew Bundra, along with many nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Steve and will cherish his memory always.
Stephen is also survived by his grandchildren, who are: Shanna (spouse Jose) and Stephen (spouse Sunny), the children of his late son Stephen and his daughter-in-law Julie Bundra; Tanya (spouse Rob), Michael, and Alan (spouse Kristin), the children of his late son Michael and his late daughter-in-law Pamela Sue Bundra; and Rachelle (spouse Jacob) and Michelle, the children of his late son Alan and daughter-in-law Trista Bundra.
To them, he was more than a grandfather—he was a storyteller, a source of laughter, and a teacher of life lessons. He made everyone feel at ease, welcoming new family members with a quick smile and his unmistakable charm.
He is also survived by his great-grandchildren—Alexander, Isaiah, David, Joseph, Isabella, Roman, Presley, Sam, Maddie, Alex, Nate, Cam, Taylor, Ryann, Connor Alex, Bella Alex, Gavin, Abigail, Aiden, and Emma—who are the children of his grandchildren, and by his great-great-grandchildren—Rhea, Elenah, Rooney, and Athena—who are the children of his great-grandchildren, each of whom he cherished with all his heart.
Stephen had a sharp sense of humor, loved a good Bloody Mary, and appreciated the simple pleasures in life. He shared stories, found joy in family meals, and turned everyday moments into cherished memories. He will be remembered for his laughter, stubborn charm, and the warmth he brought to every gathering.
He'll be remembered for his honesty, loyalty, and deep love for his family. He lived fully, loved freely, and left behind cherished stories and memories. His love will echo through the generations.
