Stephen Michael Rose

Stephen M. Rose, age 60, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 13th, 2025. Born on May 2nd, 1965 to the parents of Robert and Eleanor (Guilfoile) Rose of Clinton, Connecticut. Stephen was a 1984 graduate of Morgan High School and then continued on to work at Unilever for over twenty five years in the quality control department. He then worked as an independent living skills trainer helping individuals with brain injuries go about their everyday lives. Stephen loved nothing more than his family, football, golf, wrestling, marvel movies and puzzles. In his younger years he enjoyed boating, camping and skiiing alongside his parents and siblings. He took immense pride in being a father to his beautiful daughters Erin and Kelly Rose and showed up for his family in ways that couldn't go unrecognized. He will be incredibly missed, especially his smile that made his whole face light up and his laugh that was simply contagious. He is survived by his two daughters Erin Rose of Boston, Massachusetts and Kelly Rose of Norwich, Connecticut; his brother Robert Rose (Maryann) of Clinton, Connecticut; his sister Melissa (Chris) Ehlert of Westbrook, Connecticut and many nieces and nephew. Anyone whose life Steve touched is welcome to attend services on Saturday, November 15th at 10 am at St. Lawrence Church, 7 Hemlock Drive, Killingworth, Connecticut. Donations can be made in Stephen's honor to Gladeview Health Care Center, 60 Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, Connecticut. They took such wonderful care of Stephen, we would love to help support them so they can continue doing the same for many other patients.
