💔 In Loving Memory of Steve Wash 💔

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Donald “Steve” Stephen Wash, who went home to be with the Lord on October 27th, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer, at age 61.

Born December 14, 1963, Steve spent over 40 years as a talented barber and hairstylist in Birmingham and Fairhope. He was an avid antiques collector and loved music, DJing, and hosting karaoke nights all around Baldwin County. Steve never met a stranger and never carried hate in his heart. His kindness, love, generosity, and friendship touched many lives. He took pride in dressing sharp, was always smiling, and always ready to make others smile and laugh.

Steve is survived by his mother, Janice Wash; two brothers, Rick Wash (Cindy), and Danny Wash (Diana); and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom he loved very much. He was predeceased by his Father, Richard Wash, and brother, Tom Wash.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 13th, at the First Baptist Church of Fairhope Fellowship Hall. The visitation will be held 3:30-4:00PM with a memorial service immediately proceeding at 4:00PM.

Following the services, you are invited to attend a Karaoke tribute to “Steve-O” at Bay House Pub in Daphne. Join us for a toast to his life and social time at 6:00PM, Karaoke will begin at 7:00PM.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that gifts be made to Friendship Hope Ministries, a Christian ministry supporting local and international missions, founded by Steve’s father Richard and close to Steve’s heart.

Please keep the family, especially his mom, in your prayers as we celebrate his life and find peace knowing he’s now with Jesus. 🙏❤️
