Steven Lee Cox

Steven Cox of Phoenix, Arizona,
passed away
on October 9, 2025,
from a stroke at the age of 73.
He was born on February 11, 1952,
in Detroit, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife
of 43 years, Joanne,
his stepchildren, Craig Gulledge and Shawn Simmons.
Also survived by 3 sisters,
Sharon Cox, Susan Kaster, and Sandra (Blair) Bearinger.
Preceded in death by his parents, Chris Cox and Louise DuFresne.
He was a proud member of the IBEW (locals 17 and 387),
retiring after 55 years as a journeyman lineman,
supervisor, and inspector.
He had a passion for his Harleys,
and was an avid football fan.
His favorite team was
the Arizona Cardinals.
No public services will be held.
