Steven Brian Tabor, age 69, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Steven was born on November 8, 1955, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was the first son of Clarence and Lee (Carmelina Greco) Tabor.
Steven attended John F. Miller and Crestwood Elementary Schools, John C Fremont Junior High School, Valley High School, and UNLV for 4 years. He then obtained his M.A. Certification and went to
work for a local doctor as a Medical Assistant. After a few years, Steven ventured out on his own and opened his own weight loss clinic. He worked at his business for over 34 years. Steven and his wife Cindy settled into retirement in 2020 to focus on Steven's health.
Steven is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Cindy (Lucinda Meyer), his children Brian, John (Fernanda), and Rachel; grandchildren Braydon, Harrison, and Sophia; brother Ken; sisters Marianne Louk (Russell) and Susan Woodcock (Martin);
as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Steven loved music, especially the Beatles, and he and his brother Ken were in a band, called Halfmoon, with their cousin David when they were young. Steven played bass guitar and sang. Ken was the drummer. The love of music runs deep in the Tabor family, as Steven's father was also a musician in a band in his younger years.
Steven, a devout Christian, was the patriarch of our family, was very loved, and is greatly missed.
The family will be holding a private celebration of Steven's life.
