Susan Elizabeth Austin, 77, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Farmington Hills, MI. Born on April 26, 1948 in Detroit MI, Susan graduated from Garden City High School in Garden City, Michigan.
Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, cherished for her nurturing and affectionate nature. She is survived by her sister, Gene (Elbert) Pursell of Fort Myers, Florida; daughter, Lori (David) Angliss of Redford, Michigan; son, Joseph III (Keri) Austin of Findley, Ohio; grandchildren, Joseph (Meghan) Austin IV, Alexandra (Austin) Agosto, Elizabeth Angliss, Chase (Michaela) Austin, Rebecca Angliss, Parker Austin, Christopher Angliss; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Austin Jr., and her parents, Gene and Bernice Armstrong. Layed to rest with her husband in Marlette cemettary - Marlette, MI.
In addition to her family life, Susan was a passionate artist and writer. She loved to paint, write, and make crafts, leaving a legacy of creativity. She was also the proud author of two books that were published, "Loves Most Precious Gift" and "Undying Love," which reflect her deep emotional and artistic insights.
Susan will be remembered for her loving spirit, her dedication to her family, and her contributions to the arts. Her warmth and creativity will be missed by all who knew her.
