Susan Malek

Susan Viktorin Malek found eternal peace surrounded by her family on November 1, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on June 30, 1964, to Henry Charles Viktorin and Gladys Kolacny Viktorin and spent her youth in Pearland, Texas. She was a graduate of Texas State University and worked at a rental car agency before starting a family.

Susan raised her children in the Hill Country north of San Antonio. She leaves behind her son, Joshua Malek; daughter, Anna Malek; grandson, Walker Malek; and granddaughter, Autumn Malek. She is mourned by her mother, Gladys Viktorin; sister, Joanne Philpott; and brother, Charles Viktorin.

Susan’s faith in Jesus Christ was her spiritual strength and guidance throughout her life. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing Susan is held in Christ's arms, reunited with her father, Henry Viktorin, who was taken too soon.

A Rosary will be set for Friday, November 21, 2025, at 07:00 PM at St Ferdinands Catholic Church, 25 Main Street Blanco, TX 78606. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday November 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM also at St. Ferdinands Catholic Church. Following the funeral, a memorial lunch will be served at the home of Joshua and Meagan Malek in Blanco, Texas.

A private burial service will take place in Danbury, Texas at a later date.
