Susie passed peacefully on Sept. 24th, 2025, at age 76, after a battle with peritoneal cancer. Preceded in death by husband David, parents Floyd & Shirley Peterson. Survived by step-children, David Jr., Damon & Leslie, brothers Gary and Roger, sisters Janet and Lynn, their spouses, nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Susie demonstrated a huge strength in kindness, and had a knack for connecting quickly with EVERYONE around her, even strangers. People at the store, clinic, or restaurant responded to her warmth, and her genuine interest in them. She was a very humble person in spite of her many amazing talents. Just one example was her cooking and and baking. If you received a box of cookies from her, you were "hooked".
