Tera Lee (Ogden) Lambert (1935-2025) passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025, at the Premium Nursing Home in Nashua, NH. Born in Jessup, Georgia, 90 years ago, Tera was a long-time resident of Hudson, New Hampshire. For several years she was a resident of the Birch Heights Independent Living Community in Derry, New Hampshire. Tera was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert Lloyd Lambert after more than 60 years of marriage.
Tera was pre-deceased by her loving family in Georgia. Her parents and her two brothers, Buddy and Ludwin Ogden, as well as four sisters; Mary, Ida, Irene and Aletha.
Tera is survived by her children, Valerie McMurray of Nashua, NH and Albert L. Lambert Jr., and his wife Jeanne of Newport, VT. Grandchildren Karrie McMurray of Nashua, NH, Kyle McMurray of Boston, MA, and Kenneth Lambert of Newport, VT. She is further survived by great grandchildren Marley Lavoie of Nashua, NH and Aaron Lambert and Amanda Lambert of Newport, VT.
Tera was a dedicated parent and homemaker. She was known for her gardening skills, and culinary masterpieces, especially her Georgia Pecan Pie and special meatballs. She was an avid gardener and floral expert. She devoted her time to her family, community and neighbors. She was a long-time member of the GFWC Hudson Fortnightly Women's Club. Tera loved to shop, attend yard sales and bake for friends and family. She was especially fond of her many dogs and family pets. Friends marveled at her ability to tame wild animals and make them pets, especially her pet raccoon "Pinky" who regularly visited her sun deck for treats. Her love of nature was reflected in her many bird feeders and how she cared for the wildlife living in her yard and garden.
Tera will be remembered for her kindness, hospitality and welcoming spirit. Her comment to one and all, "You all come back", expressed her southern welcoming nature. Coffee with Tera always was a delightful and fun time. She was a great fan of Fox News and enjoyed her coffee and donut while watching the news daily. She will be missed by all those that had the pleasure of knowing her.
Services will be conducted at the Hudson First Baptist Church located at 236 Central Street in Hudson, NH on Saturday October 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Hills Farm Cemetery (behind the Alvirne Chapel) in Hudson, NH. Following the service, a luncheon will be served at the Hudson First Baptist Church.
