It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Terrill Leland Colvin. Terrill was 72 years old. He is finally out of pain and able to walk wherever he wants to! He suffered for over 12 years with sever back pain and Parkinson.
Terrill was born to Margene Levenia Montgomery and Jack Lloyd Colvin in Placerville California. He grew up in Reno Nevada. After High School he joined the Air Force and was stationed in Charleston, South Carolina. After his time in the Air Force, he joined the Air National Guard in Reno, Nevada.
He worked as a carpenter on large commercial buildings in Reno. After several years he went to work as an operator for "Ma Bell". In the 1980 he had the opportunity to work as a lead carpenter on Eareckson Air Station on Shemya Island, Alaska. He loved his time in Alaska.
In 1983 he met and married his wife, Merri Lee, in Elko, Nevada. With this marriage he gained two children. Soon after the family moved to Mesquite Nevada and then St. George Utah. In 1988 Terrill and Merri Lee were sealed in the St. George Temple.
Terrill worked at several occupations, one that he enjoyed the most was a paralegal for Alan Boyack. He enjoyed working with his boys in construction, as an electrician and in the North Dakota in the oil field.
He is survived by his wife and children, Lana Decker (Steve), Brandon Dockstader (Laci), Gabriel Colvin (Nichole) and Matthew Colvin (Megan). Sixteen grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His sisters, Bonnie Cramer and Graci (Kenny) Pearson and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a grave side service on November 8, 2025, at the Enterprise City Cemetery 11:30 A.M. A luncheon will follow at the Enterprise Community Center.
The family would thank the office of Dr. Colton Bracken and Zion's Way Health and Hospice.
