Theresa Spinks

Theresa Ann "Terry" Spinks, 74, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on January 17, 2021, in Apple Valley, California. Born on December 5, 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she lived a life marked by devotion to her family, faith, and a deep sense of kindness that touched all who knew her.

Terry was the daughter of Ann Theresa Schnell and Russell Paul Martin. She graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1964 and went on to build a successful career as a Human Resource and Accounting Manager. Her professional life spanned decades until her retirement in 2018, during which time she was known for her dedication and integrity.

A devoted wife to Daniel Spinks, Terry was also a loving mother to Ashley Doherty, Sierra (Jason) Kirkpatrick, and Joshua (Michelle) Doherty. She embraced her role as stepmother to Wendy, Daniel, and Kellie with warmth and generosity. Her legacy continues through her 19 grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her life. She is also remembered fondly by her sisters Lori Fadeley and Cathy Hunkle. Terry's family was central to her life.

Her passions included reading, traveling to new places with loved ones, and tending to her garden with care and pride. These hobbies reflected the vibrant spirit that defined Terry: nurturing, and full of life.

Terry will be remembered as kind-hearted, loyal, giving, selfless, loving, and patient. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who always put others before herself. Her unwavering support for those she loved made a lasting impact that will be cherished forever.

Having accepted Jesus as her Savior, she found comfort in the promise of eternal life in heaven.
