Thomas James Morell (October 4, 1950 – October 6, 2025) was born to Louis Frank Morell and Angela Marie Morell (nee Cecere) in Niagara Falls, NY. The family later relocated to Los Angeles, CA during Tom’s childhood.

Tommy had a true love for music and an exceptional talent for the guitar. In the 1970s and 1980s, he was very active in the recording field in Los Angeles. He performed for and traveled with Sammy Davis Jr. for several years. When he returned from being on the road, he worked on
various television shows and film productions, including "The
Tonight Show," with Sammy Davis Jr., "Name That Tune," "Face The Music," and "The Carol Burnett Show." Later, Tom pursued a second career with Southwest Airlines, where he was a valued and dedicated member of their team for 24 years.

Tom was a beloved son, brother, uncle, father, grandfather and friend. He touched many lives in addition to those roles. He was known for his kindness, gentle spirit, and his positive outlook on life. He always saw the good in others and was never one to complain. He also had a love for animals- most memorably his dog, Bojangles, and his cat, Shultzy.

Tom’s kindness and generous heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but the love and friendship he shared will live on in the memories of those whose lives he touched.
