Thomas Osborne Sr. of Lake Alfred, FL passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 71 years old.

Tom was a father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, whose humor and kindness, touched everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Osborne Jr. (Tommy), his parents, Harold Osborne Sr. and Dorothy Castleman (Osborne), stepfather Roy Castleman, two infant sisters, Linda and Wanda Osborne, one brother, Harold (Ozzie) Osborne Jr., one sister, Patsy Howell and his beloved companion, Judith Rickard, with whom he shared many cherished memories.

He is survived by his children, Jason Osborne of Bartow, Fl, Chris (Alecia) Osborne of Peoria, Il, Melissa of Brookhaven, Ga, Brittnie Osborne of Bloomington, IL and Ashley (Julian) Geiken of Paxton, Il, 9 grandchildren (another on the way), 3 great grandchildren, and 1 sister, Diane Hartman (Dan) Hoyleton, Il.

Tom joined the Army when he was 17 and served as a Medical Specialist. After the military he worked as a letter carrier for USPS for the East Peoria Post Office for over 30 years, retiring in 2011 and moving to Orlando, Florida for warmer weather.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Tom was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan and St. Louis Cardinals fan, faithfully cheering on his teams through every season. His laughter and friendly nature will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

In accordance with Tom’s wishes, no formal services will be held. A celebration of life will take place at a later date in Orlando, Fl, where those who loved him can gather to share stories and honor his memory.
