Timothy Mark Walker, passed away on October 28, 2025 at age 65 from complications during open heart surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born on February 6, 1960, in the same city he called home throughout his life, Tim brought warmth and laughter to those around him with his kind heart and easy-going nature.

Known affectionately as "Wally," by most of his friends, and “Timbo” by his dear wife, Sue, Tim was a man who valued peace and connection. It wasn’t a requirement to share the same blood to be in Tim’s family. He truly had a gift for bringing people together. He was the peacemaker in our family. His gentle demeanor and sense of humor made him a beloved presence among friends and family alike. He was always ready to offer a listening ear, or a helping hand.

Tim had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in skiing and working the many slopes of the Intermountain west. Music also played an important role in his life. He started playing the Sax at a young age, then learned Bassoon and gigged with his favorite party band, “The Killer Tomatoes”.

Tim is survived by his devoted wife, Sue, her son and grandson respectively, Sam Johnson and Mason Stokes; his brother, Dan Walker (Debra), niece, Monica, and nephew, Nathan; his sister, Suzanne Curtis Anderson (Steve), and nephews Cord and Drew Hansen. He was preceded in death by his biological father, David Walker, his father, Clair Curtis, and his mother, Eleanor Cecil Curtis.

A celebration to honor Tim’s life will be announced soon. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire kindness and harmony in the lives he touched.
