Antonie "Tony" Alderliesten
1952 - 2025
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Antonie (Tony) Alderliesten, age 73. Tony was born in Campbell River, British Columbia, one of six children to Jan and Jannie Alderliesten.
Tony was the proud owner of Glenalder Contracting, which he operated for over 30 years, working throughout BC and Alberta. His strong work ethic, integrity, and kindness earned him deep respect from all who knew and worked with him.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Colleen (Davies), and by his daughters Kristina Nicholes, Kamela Davies, and Mekaila Blasco. Tony was a devoted and proud grandfather to Hudson and Delilah Blasco, Austyn Popoff, and Grace and Kale Gott.
He is also survived by his brothers Bert (Grace) and Andy (Corrine), along with extended family and many dear friends.
Tony found joy in life's simple pleasures — reading a good book, exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping, and listening to his music. He was a good man who lived a good life, and a beautiful soul whose warmth and wisdom touched all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family, friends, and all whose lives he graced.
