Trudy Ann Banks (Ladd), age 79, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. Born on March 12, 1946, in Harriman, Tennessee, Trudy brought warmth and joy to those around her throughout her life.

A proud graduate of Northridge High School’s class of 1964, Trudy was known for her vibrant personality and her ability to connect with everyone she met. She didn’t know a stranger-her friendly nature and open heart made her a beloved presence in every room.

Trudy shared 48 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Clyde Banks. Together they built a loving family that was the center of Trudy’s world. She is lovingly remembered by her sons Doug Banks and Brian Banks (Amanda); grandsons Jordan Banks (Maddy), Jaycob Banks (Kaitlyn), and Parker Banks; and great-granddaughter Peyton Banks. Her love extended deeply to her sister Brenda Carter (Bruce), sister-in-law Pat Ladd, nieces Alicia Snyder (Scott) and Janelle Bowman ( Ralph), as well as several great-nieces and great -nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucille and Bill Ladd, and her brother Gary Ladd.

Trudy had a passion for quilting and sewing-crafts that reflected the care and creativity she poured into all aspects of her life. She found joy in travel and especially loved cruising and spending winters in Florida. Whether at home or away, Trudy cherished time spent with family and friends above all else.

Her legacy is one of kindness, connection, and unwavering love for those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Woodland Hills Baptist Church 6020 Foster Avenue.
