Vanessa Snyder

Vanessa Ivory Snyder (Priest), age 39, passed away on September 26, 2025, in Sequim, Washington. Born on March 8, 1986, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Vanessa brought warmth and light into the lives of all who knew her.

Vanessa was a loving mother, a loyal sister, a cherished daughter, and a giving friend. Her presence was a source of strength and comfort to those around her. She embraced life with compassion and resilience, always putting others before herself and offering unwavering support to her loved ones.

She is survived by her beloved children, Brooklynn and Noah; her father David Priest and his wife Rhonda; her mother Colette Alexander; her sisters Brianna McHugh and husband Mitch, Megan Priest, and Lynsey Hall and husband Drake; her brothers Anthony Priest and Michael Schweiger; her grandfather Donald Alexander and his wife Donna; and her best friend Trigger. Vanessa also leaves behind many other cherished extended family members and friends who will continue to honor her memory.

Vanessa was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents James and Patricia Priest; maternal grandmother Ginger Alexander; and stepmother, Danielle Colon, Colette's wife.

Though gone too soon, Vanessa’s legacy lives on through the love she gave so freely. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.
