Vickie Lynn Siefferman, 76, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2025, in Petersburg, Virginia. Born on December 27, 1948, in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, Vickie lived a life marked by love, compassion and servanthood in her deep, rich personal relationships. Vickie's touch and care was easily seen in her interests and pursuits.

Throughout her life, Vickie embraced many roles with love and compassion. She was a long-time employee of the old Pantry Pride in Petersburg and later contributed her talents to the Petersburg Public Library. Her compassionate nature led her to serve as a palliative care and personal caregiver, offering comfort and support to others during their most vulnerable times.

Vickie had a remarkable gift for transforming the ordinary into something extraordinary. A skilled furniture restorer and seller, she brought new life to forgotten pieces through her skill and touch. Her love for yard sales and thrift stores was more than a pastime—it was a treasure hunt that reflected her eye for beauty and value in unexpected places. In the kitchen, she was a phenomenal cook whose meals nourished both body and soul. Vickie was a "Jill of all trades," approaching every task with thoughtfulness and heart.

She was a wonderful wife to her late husband Richard "Dick" Siefferman and held dear the memories they built together. Vickie's legacy continues through her son Adam Siefferman; stepdaughter Stephanie Siefferman Gupton; brother Wally Joyner; and sister Linda Frey, along with two nieces, a nephew, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also carried in her heart the memory of her stepson Chris Siefferman.

To those who knew her best—both family and friend—Vickie was an incredible presence: warm, generous, and endlessly resourceful. She adopted the role of servant not out of obligation but as an expression of deep love and care for those she cherished. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her!

A Memorial Service will be held on November 8, 2025, from 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM at Market St. Coffee 111 N. Market St. There will be light refreshments following the service.
