Vincent Joseph Gentiletti, 73, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2025, in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Born on August 25, 1952, in Assergi, Italy, Vincent’s life was marked by a deep love for technology, music, food, and above all, the people around him.
Vincent built a distinguished career in the computer and technology industry. He began his professional journey at Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard, Massachusetts. His passion for innovation and dedication to his work led him to Computer Science Corporation (CSC) in Marlton, New Jersey, and later to Data Intelligence (DI) in Voorhees, New Jersey. Throughout his career, Vincent was known for his expertise and commitment to excellence.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Debra Gentiletti; his daughter Maria Gentiletti and her husband Ed Cornell; his sister Gabriella McCleary; and stepson Abe Robins with Louise Piper and their children Charlie and Frankie. Vincent also leaves behind many other cherished family members and friends whose lives were touched by his warmth and generosity.
He was predeceased by his beloved son Tommy Gentiletti; his brother Carlo Gentiletti; and his parents Luigi and Elisa Gentiletti.
Vincent had a lifelong passion for music. He was always searching for the perfect acoustics—experimenting with speakers and amplifiers—and enjoyed curating personalized playlists of songs from the year someone was born. He even took guitar lessons for a time, embracing the joy of learning something new. His love of music was matched only by his enthusiasm for good food. Whether discovering new restaurants or returning to old favorites, Vincent found joy in sharing meals with others. And when it came to tequila, he was a connoisseur—always eager to teach others how to savor it properly: sip slowly, never shoot.
Those who knew Vincent will remember him as a kind and generous man who was always willing to lend a hand or offer support. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.
