William H Barrett

William H. Barrett, 74 of Lubbock, TX. died peacefully at his home in York, PA. on September 28, 2025.
William was born in Fort Worth, TX. in 1951. He is the son of the late Howard F. and Alice M. Barrett of Lubbock, TX.
A true Renaissance man, William enjoyed many exciting careers in his lifetime but in his heart, he was always a rancher. He spent many years with his family at their ranch in TX. and later oversaw all aspects of the ranch.
He enjoyed rescuing, caring for and spending time with his beloved cats, embraced technology, liked to ride his Harley and had a keen interest in studying the galaxies miraculously created by our loving God. He loved reminiscing old days, spending time with family and friends in person or in long phone conversations.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Barrett of York, PA., his two daughters Amy and Shannon of TX., his sister Susan Barrett Carter and brother in law Bill Carter along with nieces Katy and Christin of Tulsa, OK, sister in law and brother in law Carol and Dean Hansen of MD., and numerous beloved cousins of MO. and TX.
