William Patrick Ellermeyer, 70, a retired physician, died Friday, November 14th at his home in Southlake.

Bill was born in Belen, New Mexico on August 5, 1955. He grew up working at his family's department store, Feil & Ellermeyer, with his sister Lynn. Bill enjoyed playing football, basketball, baseball, and swimming in high school. After graduating he attended Creighton University in Omaha for undergraduate and medical school. It was in Omaha where he met his beautiful wife, Jeanne. They moved to Dallas in 1987 where he co-founded Pinnacle Anesthesia which has grown to 14 physicians. Bill served as Chief of Surgery in 1995 and Chief of Staff in 1996 at Baylor Medical Center Grapevine. Bill retired from medicine in 2017.

Outside of his remarkable career, Bill was very proud of his 40 year marriage to Jeanne and his two wonderful children, Rory and Will. He was overjoyed to meet and get to know his three grandchildren, William, Sloane, and Carter. Over the years Bill shared fun memories, jokes, travels, music, his faith, wine and the Dallas Cowboys ups and downs with countless friends he loved dearly.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Claire Ellermeyer of Belen, NM. Bill is survived by his loving wife Jeanne of Southlake; children Rory Brumbaugh and her husband Justin, Will Ellermeyer and his wife Chrystina; his grandchildren Sloane Brumbaugh, and William and Carter Ellermeyer; his sister Lynn Matte and her husband John; his nieces Amy Matte, Katie Robbins and nephew Matthew Matte. Bill leaves behind many loved brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews who held a special place in his life.
