William Howard "Bill" Printz, age 86, passed away peacefully at Brandon, Florida Hospital on October 14, 2025. Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Bill was the first son of Mannie and Mollie (Redlus) Printz, both of whom preceded him in death. His family relocated to Englewood, New Jersey when he was 13. As a young student, Bill exhibited an exceptional scholastic ability, allowing him to quickly advance two grades in elementary school. He graduated from Dwight Morrow High School in Englewood at the age of 15 and earned his college degree in Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. His professional career focused mainly in finance, occupying Controller positions with G. Shirmer Music Publishing, Nichols Homeshield of Hollywood, Florida, and Cable Science Corporation, also based in Florida. Bill was a proud veteran and served his country in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. Always a dedicated son, Bill relocated to Florida to be closer to his father. It was in Florida that Bill met the love of his life, and wife of 25 years, Helen (Carter). Together they cruised and traveled the world, exploring distant shores and experiencing different cultures. An avid reader and sports fan, Bill loved cheering for his favorite football teams, the New York Giants and the University of Miami Hurricanes. He had a keen interest in current political and social events and was always ready to discuss or debate the issues of our time. Bill was a New York guy. He said what he thought and loved his friends and family. He will be missed. He leaves behind his loving wife, Helen of Plant City, Florida, and brother Edward and Sister-in-law, Dianne Printz of Marana, Arizona. Bill's ashes will be interred in a dedicated spot at Florida National Cemetary in Bushnell, Florida.
