William Roy "Bill" Stone

STONE [WILLIAM ROY], BILL - After a lengthy battle with lung cancer, Bill passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at his home on October 24th, 2025, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Stella for 61 years. Loving father to Brenda [Rick] Hazell, Terry [Christine] Stone, Gary [Lisa] Stone and Sharon Cayuga. Cherished Papa to Jojo/Gary Jr. [Holly], Cody [Michelle], Jordan [Nicole], Kristen [Adam], Katelyn [Andrew], Steven, Matthew, Emily, Trent, Nathan and Great Papa to Cloe, William, Nova, Silas and Wren. In following with Bill's wishes, a private cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to take place on Saturday, November 15th from 1pm to 4pm at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 163 at 435 Limeridge Road East, Hamilton, ON L9A 2S8. Family would like to acknowledge his palliative care nurse "Katrina" for her care and compassion along with the many PSWs, and the Cancer Assistance Program that supported him and us through his battle.
