Woodard Valls

Woodard Daniel Valls left this life on November 4, 2025. Beloved former husband of 27 years to Erin Gangolf Valls. Sadly missed by his daughters, Kelly Lulich and her husband, Dustin Naquin; Kaitlyn Valls Cavalier and her husband, Ashley Cavalier; Kayla "Gracie" Hansel and her husband, Nicholas Hansel; brother-in-law Andrew Gangolf; son-in-law Dominic Signorelli; 7 grandchildren- Salvadore Signorelli, Margaret Cavalier, Bridget Cavalier, Bowman Naquin, Virginia Cavalier, Quinn Naquin, and Sofia Hansel. Survived by multiple siblings, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Florence and William Valls, Alejandro Gallard Prio, and his brother, Roy Caffery.

A lifelong resident of New Orleans, Woody was a proud graduate of Abramson High School (Class of 1972) and the University of New Orleans. He was also a devoted parishioner of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Lakeview. Woody will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him for his generosity, sense of humor, and adventurous spirit.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 775 Harrison Ave., New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be at St. Dominic from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift of masses or a donation to St. Dominic Parish.
