Xiang Ning Su, PhD (September 14, 1957 - September 23, 2025)

Xiang Ning Su, 68, of Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025 at Baylor Scott White Hospital.

Born on September 14, 1957 in Kunming, China. Xiang earned a PhD in Physics from the University of Texas at Austin. He had a distinguished career as a scientist at IBM and served as Senior Staff Engineer at Freescale Semiconductor and Samsung Austin Semiconductor, contributing to advances in technology and engineering in semiconductor industry throughout his life.

Xiang is survived by his beloved wife, Grace Gao; his daughter, Katherine Su; and his son, Albert Su. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
Xiang will be remembered for his brilliance, kindness, and devotion to his family and work, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, inspiration, and achievement.
